Trick r Treat is a horror anthology, 4 stories linked to each other. Starring Anna Paquin from True Blood fame in one story and a few other noticeable faces in the others.

All 4 stories are told on Halloween, a high school principle moonlights as a serial killer, the quest of a beautiful young woman (Paquin) sets out to find her true love, a high school prank goes wrong and an miserable old man battles an halloween odd ball.

I give it a 7/10

The Caller (2011) Movie Review

The Caller is a supernatural thriller starring Rachelle Lefevre and English actor Stephen Moyer - best known for his role in True Blood as the vampire Bill Compton.

Mary Kee, a recent divorcee moves into a new apartment, soon discovers a new retro telephone....but soon begins to wish she hadn't.

She starts to receive calls from a woman named Rose....who claims to be in the past....who begins doing things to alter the present.

Definitely worth checking out if your a horror fan.

Dvd/cd Pickups 15/02/13

I managed to keep my dvd buying to a minimum in the last 2 weeks.

I picked up a few new releases including Looper, Resident Evil, Taken 2 and the Disney movie "Brave".

Also purchased Hatfields And McCoys western mini series and season 1 and 2 of the science fiction series Fringe.

I only bought one cd recently and that was Bad English's 2nd album "Backlash" - had to wait 2 weeks for delivery though.

P2 movie review

P2 is a horror film set in a New York buildings parking garage on Christmas Eve, where Angela Bridges (Rachel Nichols) works as a businesswoman.

She becomes trapped and is stalked by a psychopath (Wes Bentley),where she has to fight to stay alive.

Definitely worth checking out if your a horror fan, trailer is below

Big Big DVD/Blu Ray PickUps 03/02/13

Wow, think i've gone crazy....picked up alot of films in the past 2 weeks.

Bought the Avengers Assemble boxset containing The Avengers, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man 1 & 2 for only £12.

Also got Leatherheads, Grilled, Stop-Loss, P2 and Blue Valentine on dvd whilst i found Miami Vice, Almost Famous, Lethal Weapon and Shutter Island on Blu-Ray.

BluRay / DVD Pickups 28/01/13

Managed to pick up a copy of Lawless on dvd last week, have yet to watch but hope to sit down and enjoy it this week.

Also picked up How I Met Your Mother Seasons 1-6 from ebay, got a good deal....discs in great condition.
